Position: Part-time Researcher
Organisation: Globe Art Point
Project: Access, Advocacy & Active Inclusion (AAA) – Development of the Inclusive Leadership Blueprint
Duration: Mid-January to Mid-May 2025
Workload: 20 hours per week (4 days per week)
Salary: €1,350 per month

Start Date: January 14th, 2025

Globe Art Point is seeking a motivated and skilled researcher to contribute to the Access, Advocacy & Active Inclusion (AAA) project. This initiative, supported by the Erasmus+ programme, aims to promote greater inclusion and equity in the cultural and creative industries across Europe. The researcher will play a central role in developing the Inclusive Leadership Blueprint, a practical and user-friendly tool to help cultural leaders integrate diversity, equity, inclusion, access, and belonging (DEIBA) principles into their decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

Research and Analysis:

Conduct a thorough review of relevant literature, including materials collected by international creatives, the Ministry, Cupore, and Taike.
Analyse survey data from cultural leaders to identify challenges, gaps, and opportunities for inclusive leadership.

Blueprint Development:

Collaborate with the project team to design and draft the Inclusive Leadership Blueprint.
Conduct testing sessions with Cultural Leaders and collect feedback based on the survey material collected
Create a practical checklist to guide cultural leaders in implementing DEIBA practices.
Refine the Blueprint based on feedback from testing phases.
The project completion entails public presentation of the Blueprint

Communication and Coordination:

Liaise with project stakeholders in Denmark, France and Finland to ensure alignment with the AAA project’s objectives.
Manage timelines and deliverables effectively.
The working process to be documented on Globe Art Point’s social media (1 or 2 posts per week)

Requirements

The individual applying must be a member of GAP Creatives Database.
Proven experience as a researcher, ideally in social sciences, cultural studies, or related fields.
Ability to receive monthly salary payments (applicants must have the appropriate arrangements in place).
Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Knowledge of local languages is not required.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Familiarity with DEIBA concepts and practices is an advantage.

Work Arrangements
The researcher will work remotely/onsite for 20 hours per week, four days between Tuesday to Friday from 10am until 15:00. It’s possible to work remotely on Fridays but the other 3 working days must be conducted at GAP’s office (Malminkatu 5).
