Hi there, I’m Basit. A Helsinki based multi-disciplinary creative. My main skillset revolves around visual design as I have a career as an 2D/3D animator. My focus has been advertising work and throughout my career I have worked in graphic design, motion graphics and video editing roles. In addition to my digital design skill I am also passionate about photography, moreso the analog art of film photography. I have been exploring 35mm and 120mm medium format film for still photography in the past year as well as exploring super8 and vintage camcorders for my video work. I also work as a producer in my down time. I am part of an association which is at the intersection of arts and music and we have produced almost 200 events from small scale to large scale events. Some of the most notable include Kallio Block Party. Lastly, I also perform as a DJ locally and have experience in sound systems and sound design. Currently I am working towards starting a music label to help local artists to help reach a broader international audience. I would love to bring my skills and dedication to the table and collaborate on future projects.
