Alejandra Alarcon (she/her) is a Mexican interdisciplinary artist based in Helsinki working at the intersection of food and art. Using a feminist and decolonial approach, her practice explores different forms of enacting care and incorporating embodied knowledge. She uses walking, writing, drawing, baking, and cooking as artistic tools to investigate themes of commensality, belonging, and the seasonality of things.
