Emma Clear
I am an Irish artist based in Finland (b. 1981). My work explores concepts for storytelling, care practices and strategies for building emotional resilience. With a background in drawing and installation I utilise varying materials to think through concepts for more careful living. My work has moved in recent years towards writing practices. I attempt to find ways of entangling words and drawing, lived experiences and history with organic matter-ing.
