Information Bank

Naakai is a Ghanaian-American writer and multimedia artist based in Raasepori. Her visual artwork involves photography, painting, lyrical prose, movement, and collage to explore themes of otherness, disability, bodily autonomy, and self-liberation. Her debut novel, Somewhere Soft to Land, was recently acquired by Ballantine Books, and her creative nonfiction work and essays have been published both online and in print.
