I’m a visual artist and illustrator passionate about creating cartoons and graphic design. In my work, I play around with lines, symbols, and simple shapes. I love visual storytelling and possibilities of different interpretations. More about me: I have worked as an illustrator and cartoonist for years. I have been working on projects ranging from editorial and children illustrations as well as award-winning cartoons and illustrations. My works have been included in more than 20 books and a wide variety of Illustration and cartoons catalogs and won some awards. I enjoy storytelling with images and illustrating feelings and emotions. I grew up in Iran seeing many strong women fighting for their rights, justice and equality. My cartoons and illustrations are about social and emotional issues and human rights, with a focus on women. I’m also one of the cofounders of Beyond Art Oslo; a charity organization by a group of enthusiasts who were willing to volunteer their time to try and make a difference through art.
