Naomi Holopainen’s art highlights the spectrum of emotions and how they manifest in different realities. The exploration of emotions through video, photography, literature and drawing is a gateway to better understand the impact that emotions in turn have on people’s behavior individually and collectively. Drawing from her own experiences as a multicultural multidimensional being, art is a way for them to unpack their own emotions. By creating I’m able to deal with difficult emotions as I trickle it into what ever I am making at a time. Within the layers of emotions, as I let myself go I’m able to reconnect with my inner child within the dream world we create together.
