Gabriella Presnal
Gabriella Presnal (b.2001) is a Finnish-American visual artist with a BA in Media and Arts from Tampere University of Applied Sciences. Their works are many times inspired by their life experiences such as living in countries like the US, Canada, Sweden, and Finland. As well as drawing inspiration from ecology and philosophy using mediums like video installation, sculpture, and more. Many of their works are collaborative and surround queer experiences, memories, and the queer community in general. Their current topic of research in their artistic practice is the intersections between queerness, spatiality, and memory politics. They have exhibited primarily in Southern Finland, but have had exhibitions and video screenings based in Germany, Slovenia, Brazil, Italy, Korea, and the U.S.
