Veronica Solomon is an animation filmmaker with more than 15 years experience in story-telling, concept design, character development, direction and animation. In her works she follows her fascination with the human psyche and keeps searching for means to give form and expression to the complex processes of the mind. Her short films done in and out of educational institutions have been screened and awarded at numerous international festivals. Before having the chance to go into film she completed her studies in fine arts with a focus on ceramics and has been exploring other artistic area like comics, fashion design, illustration, installation… Her career path took her from her Transylvanian hometown to Bucharest, Buenos Aires, Berlin and now Tampere.
