Clara Petrozzi
Clara Petrozz was born in Lima, Peru and lives in Finland since 1990. Clara is a viola and violin player and pedagogue working in various schools in the metropolitan area. (Violin Teacher Diploma of the European Suzuki Association; Bachelor in Music Pedagogy with major in viola, Metropolia UAC). Clara is also a composer and musicologist with a PhD from the University of Helsinki. She is founder, member and Artistic Director of Aurinko ensemble, a chamber music group devoted to Latin American art music. With her husband Jordy Valderrama she collaborates in puppetry works. They have also a duo for viola and mime (Mimo & Viola). With her mother Annika Helasvuo (cello) she integrates also the Duo Raita. She is specially interested in Latin American and Peruvian art music and contemporary music for viola and chamber groups.
