Globe Art Point is organising a taxation workshop focusing on general taxation matters, with a special emphasis on filing taxes as an artist or creative professional. The session will take place on 2 April at Globe Art Point’s premises in Kamppi and will be facilitated by Riikka Kuoppala. Participation is free of charge upon registration.
Topics covered include
✔ Differences in taxation for various types of artist income
✔ How to correctly file grants
✔ Tax deductions for artists: studio rent, work trips, materials, technical equipment, etc.
✔ What happens if my deductions exceed my taxable income?
✔ Handling international income
✔ Correcting mistakes in the final tax decision
Note: This workshop focuses on individual taxation and does not cover entrepreneur taxes.
