Event Description:
We are excited to announce that for the next GAP Goes Galleries, Globe Art Point is going to collaborate with EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art! For those unfamiliar, EMMA is Finland’s largest museum of modern and contemporary art, with gallery space covering a total area of 6000 m2. The museum is located in the Tapiola district of Espoo, in the former Weilin & Göös printing house designed by Professor Aarno Ruusuvuori (1925–1992). The building is a classic sample of 1960s concrete brutalism and an iconic local landmark.
Exclusively for this event, EMMA will open its doors to host GAP, offering our members and community a unique opportunity to meet and network with the museum’s curatorial team.
GAP Goes Galleries provides a low-threshold platform for fostering connections and collaborations within the art and culture community. This unique initiative caters to art and culture professionals interested in exploring new spaces, discovering opportunities, and building networks.
The event is conducted in English, ensuring accessibility to a diverse audience.
Venue Accessibility:
EMMA is an accessible museum. The exhibitions on the 2nd floor are conveniently accessible by lift and the circulation route is threshold-free with ample space for assistive devices. Read more about Emma’s accessibility here: Accessibility info – EMMA
