GAP ART SUMMIT NORDIC is a two-days-long art conference organised by Globe Art Point in close cooperation with Luckan Helsingfors on the 15th & 16th of March 2023.

The series of actionable and inclusive events explore the working formats, positive practices and relationships between various cultural actors operating in Europe’s Northern region; Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland and Finland.

Following the legacy of last year’s art summit, the emphasis of programming is on deepening the knowledge of the increasing diversity in the Nordic arts and culture scene with a strong focus on professional & career development, self-empowerment, and community building.

Discussions will feature domestic as well as international guest speakers; cultural policy makers, institution leaders and independent professionals representing art and culture organisations based in Nordics.

GAP ART SUMMIT NORDIC is also part of ARTIVAL, a sustainability oriented cultural festival that spotlights multilingualism, and cultural diversity within the arts and culture sector.

ARTIVAL reimagines the boundaries of the classic festival: artists, the artistic process and advocacy are the primary focus. While maintaining relevance and high quality standards, the artworks, materials produced and the audiences who bear witness are secondary.

ARTIVAL is a biennial that happens in multiple locations over an extended period of time. The theme of this year’s ARTIVAL is “RE:CONNECT” and it takes place in Stockholm, Helsinki, Oslo, Bornholm, Malmö and Copenhagen. The lead organiser of ARTIVAL is Immart.
