Wena aspires to be an empathetic curator of education. Her interests revolve around participation and human connection among the versatile contemporary art practices. Having worked as a researcher and educator, she has collaborated with creatives from Hong Kong, Japan, United States, Finland and United Kingdom to develop learning materials, design and lead educational programs in both formal and informal educational settings, including schools and non-profit art organizations.
Wena has a broad pedagogical repertoire, from kindergarten to university teaching. She believes in the magical power of art to create logical solutions across diverse age and social groups. She received her Master’s in Education in Finland and Bachelor’s in Cultural Management in Hong Kong. She finds joy in connecting with open-minded, like-hearted people and indulging in conversation that inspires.
Wena currently lives and works in Helsinki. She is the founding facilitator of the GAP Peer-to-Peer Program since 2022.
