Valentina Černiauskaitė (b. 1997 in Kaunas, Lithuania) is a visual artist and storyteller working at the intersections of graphic arts, publishing, illustration and writing. Valentina has studied Graphic Art & Printmaking and graduated from Vilnius Academy of Arts. In 2021, she has completed an exchange year in Kuvataideakatemia (University of the Arts, Helsinki). Valentina’s artistic practice is situated around and explores the topics of time, memory, human relationships and communication subtleties and errors. Valentina often works with and around printed matter, analysing different stages and methods of publishing, including self-publishing. Since 2021, Valentina has been coordinating Art & Research Library at Publics, Helsinki.
