Iago Castro Pérez is a galician cellist and teacher. He studied at High Conservatory of Music in A Coruña, and finished his academic chelistic training at the Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona.

He is a versatile musician with experience mainly in classical music, and also jazz, pop and rock music. As a teacher, he is certified in Gordon’s Music Learning Theory in its application for musical instruments.

He has been a cello teacher in the social project of the Galician Symphony Orchestra from its beginning in 2012, until its disappearance in 2019.

He has been a cellist, arranger and co-founder of the Brigantia Trio and Flutello Eventos.
