I am a Finland-based artist and illustrator, working primarily with painting. In my art practice I reflect upon identity, uniqueness and means of expression of ones inner world. I paint about people and their true selves, however overlooked or even marginalised they might be. I wish for my art to depict beauty, but not the one that fits into boundaries. The true beauty lies in the truth. So, I paint it to the best of my ability, and hope for it to inspire thought, dialogue and expansion of horizons for the viewers.
I create book illustrations as well, both using traditional techniques and digital painting.
