Born in Albania in 1990, I started my approach to art at a very young age by independently drawing and painting during my childhood, continuing in a conventional art education at a high school of Arts in Tirana.
In 2010 I moved to Milan, Italy, and started my studies at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera where I graduated from the Department of Visual Arts, Painting (Bachelor). During the years of my studies and residence in Italy, I had the opportunity to experience a close working relationship with important international artists such as Remo Salvadori and David Tramlett. I feel mentioning them is particularly important as they influenced my education phase and partly my future art.
In 2018 my wife and I moved to Vaasa, Finland, and founded BlackBoxGenesis artspace and studio. It marked an important life event for us as artists to be in the position of curating and producing varied exhibitions and other art events with local, national, and international collaborators.
Now the work has directed us outside the walls of a gallery into a rural /natural environment. Both my personal artmaking and public event production converge toward more natural and introspective contexts. The shifting between art disciplines or mediums comes as a necessity of knowing and as perspectives of reality as a whole.
