I DO like to make things…
I DO like to make them well…
and it DOES get messy…
and crazy…
and goes out of hands sometimes…
and I LOVE IT!

I am a Finland-based artist of Russian origin. As an artist, I have assimilated various cultural traditions. I think it’s critical for artists to include their individuality into their creations. My varied cultural heritage is reflected in my artistic approach.
Art, in my opinion, is vital to humankind. In any event, even though art is not essential for human survival, I think it is crucial for people’s mental well-being. One person must create it, while others must watch. These days, there are many different kinds of art, but they are all united by their ability to heal, stimulate the imagination, provoke thought, and be therapeutic.
I am a visualist. I see beauty in everything that surrounds me: in every little object, colour, form, and texture. I am easily inspired. In addition, I have a strong curiosity and enjoy learning new skills and working with a wide variety of materials, including glass, ceramics, paint, metal, concrete, resin, … you name it!
I love the idea of minimal waste, which is why I frequently include recycled materials into my artwork as a way to connect with nature. “Giving things a second life” is my mantra as an artist.
