KANNELTALO is a theater and concert hall located next to Kannelmäki Train Station, a 13-minute train ride from Helsinki Central Station.
MALMITALO is a lively cultural centre for anyone who loves film, music, theatre and children’s events. In addition to performances and exhibitions, the building features a library, restaurant, adult education centre, four art schools and the Koillisluotsi project steered by Youth Services.
THE SAVOY THEATRE is a guest stage for international performers in the very centre of Helsinki, next to the Esplanadi Park.
STOA is a rhythmic, spicy and vibrant cultural centre in Itäkeskus in Helsinki. Its programme is centred around dance, contemporary circus, exhibitions, different art festivals and art education for people of all ages. Stoa and the Stoa square form a cultural living room in the east of the city that is open to everyone, where residents of Helsinki can participate in making works of art and events happen.
VUOTALO is a colourful cultural centre in a lush urban setting in Vuosaari. Concerts, clubs, theatre, children’s events and films for all ages.
Cultural Centres in Helsinki
ANNANTALO is an arts centre for children, young people and families in Helsinki. Annantalo is a venue for art education, exhibitions and performances, events and workshops. Annantalo is also a venue for seminars and training courses that promote children’s culture.
CAISA is a cultural centre established in 1996 that promotes the development of Helsinki into a diverse city by means of the arts and culture. Caisa hosts performances, events and exhibitions, and also provides teaching in the arts. The facilities are also available for rent. Cultural Centre Caisa is open to everyone!

CHILDREN’S CULTURAL CENTRE AURORA is a place of happy experiences for children and adults. This unique complex of three buildings is located close to the charming Träskända Park and Manor and has excellent transport connections. The multipurpose facilities, a courtyard surrounded by the buildings and an outdoor stage, provide a great setting for a wide range of events from performing arts to recreational activities and various art workshops and private events.
ESPOO CULTURAL CENTRE is the main scene for performing arts and cultural life in Espoo. Tapiola Sinfonietta (the Espoo city orchestra), Espoon Kaupunginteatteri (the Espoo Theatre), April Jazz Festival, Espoo Ciné Festival, PianoEspoo and VocalEspoo Festivals are on stage on a regular basis. Come and enjoy the magic of a live performance!
EXHIBITION CENTRE WEEGEE is a versatile centre of museums, exhibitions and events. WeeGee is located in Espoo’s Tapiola, in a building designed by Professor Aarno Ruusuvuori. The building was formerly used by the Weilin&Göös printing house. The Exhibition Centre includes two museums: EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art and KAMU Espoo City Museum.
KANNUSALI– At Kannusali, you can enjoy fantastic music clubs, movies, family events and much more such as theatre and stand-up comedy. The multipurpose facilities are located in the Kannu civil defence shelter, a short walk from the Espoo railway station in Espoon keskus. The tiered seating has room for 220 spectators and, thanks to it being movable, there is room for a total of 300 people on the flat floor of the room.
KARATALO is a diverse venue for culture, art and recreational activities. The building also houses youth services and facilities for teaching and activities. The organisations providing teaching include Swedish Education and Cultural Services, Espoo School of Art, Juvenalia Music Institute, Rhythm Music School Tauko and Omnia (Espoo Adult Education Centre). In addition, an active group of different recreational groups rehearse in Karatalo.
SELLO HALL in Leppävaara, close to Sello shopping mall, is acoustically one of the best music halls in the capital region. With 400 seats and thanks to the adaptable acoustics various art forms can be enjoyed at the Sello Hall. In addition to the wonderful experiences of acoustic music, electronically amplified music, films and performing arts of various kinds fit our hall perfectly. Sello Hall’s central location allows for easy connections from within the capital region. There is a free five-hour parking in the Sello shopping mall garage.
VINDÄNGEN – VINDÄNGENSALI– Focus is on the cultural services offered in Swedish by Espoo City and on the basic art education activities in cooperation with Musikinstitutet Kungsvägen. Vindängensalen, located in Folkhälsanhuset enables theatre and concert visits, as well as nights with visiting authors and artists.
