Gesa Piper is a German dance-artist and -pedagogue. Her interests lie
within the field of the multiplicity of the human existence in its
social and environmental contexts. Her artistic work seeks to
investigate those through means of physical expression and embodied
contemplative inquiry.
Piper has been based in Finland since 2011 and is active as a freelance
performer, teacher and choreographer nationally and internationally. GAP in co-production with Zodiak produced a work by her, Georgina Goater and Maikki Palm together with Sofia Pallilo and Riku-Pekka Kellokoski. (“Memory Matter” at Zodiak Stage, Oct 2020). Furthermore, Piper is employed in the different departments in the Theater Academy Helsinki since 2014.
