Concluding seminar of the Project Opening (Avaus) September 14th, 2020 in Helsinki
Globe Art Point together with the Culture for All service is organising the final seminar of the Avaus project at Ateneum in Helsinki on 14 September 2020. The aim of the project was to create models that support the possibilities of arts and culture professionals with migrant backgrounds to become employed by Finnish arts and culture institutions and thus enable their better inclusion into Finnish society.
A warm welcome to our seminar!
Venue: Ateneum Hall, Ateneum Art Museum, Kaivokatu 2, Helsinki. Note. You can also participate in the event remotely.
Access to the Ateneum Hall is through the main door of Ateneum from Kaivokatu. The main door is not accessible. The barrier-free entrance is on the Ateneuminkuja side.
Time: 13:00-16:00 The door will open at 12:45.
There is no entrance fee for the event, but it requires pre-registration.
Accessibility
The Ateneum Hall is barrier-free and has an induction loop. Unobstructed entrance from Ateneuminkuja. There will be a written interpretation (in English). The language of the event is English.
Registration
You must register for the event in advance. Register with this online form. Due to the Corona situation, we can allow max of 60 people on site. The last day to register is 10.9. 2020.
Note. Remote participants must also register beforehand. We will send a Zoom link via email.

- Try to create a positive atmosphere and take care of people around you.
- If you disagree with someone, try to raise the matter in a constructive and peaceful manner.
- If the situation feels uncomfortable, please raise the issue, for example, by informing the organisers.
