Welcome to the Artists’ taxation workshop with Anna Nousiainen!

In this workshop we will learn about Finnish taxation for artists. She will deal with cross-border situations (exhibitions abroad, study travels, etc) from the point of view of Finland’s taxation authority mostly. Anna will examine artist’s work both as an independent entrepreneur and with employee status, and, if there’s time the participants will have the possibility of going through the filing of the tax form.

Anna Nousiainen, LL.M., Trained on the bench, is a Helsinki-based lawyer specialised in compliance and counter-black economy. Besides her work in Finnish governmental authorities, Nousiainen has worked in the Artists’ Association of Finland (Suomen Taiteilijaseura) advising visual artists on issues related to taxation, commercial agreements and copyright.
