‘El día de los muertos’ (Day of the Dead)

‘El día de los muertos’ (Day of the Dead) is organised at Globe Art Point on 30th of October between 16-19.00.

The event is facilitated by the ‘Day of the Dead’ enthusiast Eduardo Tejedor who believes that representations of the dead in colorful designs are an essential part of Mexican culture and a sample of how people see the afterlife, sometimes with grief and other times with love and affection, or even joy, nevertheless, it’s always a respectful way of remembering our ancestors.

‘El día de los muertos’ originates from Mexico and it was added to UNESCO list of Intangible Cultural Heritage as the Indigenous Festivity dedicated to the Dead in 2008.

This event is open to all ages, welcome!
