KUVATA WEBINAR #2
Solutions to Income Challenges
8.10.2024 klo 12:00–13:30
Recorded
A visual artist can bring interaction, creativity, empathy, and an invitation to sensitivity and new ways of thinking into the workplace. For a company, art can be the key to well-being at work, an attraction, and part of its brand. This webinar outlines the roles of visual artists and visual art in various organizations and corporate environments.
Krista Petäjäjärvi and Kanerva Kartano provide inspiring case examples of the possibilities for visual artists beyond traditional roles, particularly in collaboration with different companies. How can a visual artist work together with a workplace developer or a coach, and how can the artist’s expertise be transformed into a purchasable service? In addition to practical case studies, the talk connects the topic to a broader phenomenon and explores the tensions between art and commerce, as well as future opportunities. Krista and Kanerva will also discuss how a company benefits from hiring an artist.
This webinar is currently available in Finnish only, but an English translation will be available soon. If you would like to receive a recording of the video, please send your request to info@globeartpoint.fi.
