This is a compound of different artworks created to commemorate and represent the Mexican Day of the Dead (celebrated on November 2nd). It shows these festivities’ vibrant, colorful, and allegorical features blended with sadness, emotion, and satire. The artworks were created in different years and for different purposes, it includes various techniques such as linocut print, digital and traditional illustration, handmade sketches, and more.

Eduardo is a Day of the Dead enthusiast, he believes that those representations of the dead in colorful designs are an essential part of Mexican culture and a sample of how people see the afterlife, sometimes with grief and other times with love and affection, or even joy, nevertheless, it’s always a respectful way of remembering our ancestors.
