G.A.P Goes Galleries provides a low-threshold platform for casual information exchange, fostering connections and collaborations within the art and culture community in both the metropolitan area and beyond. Organised by Globe Art Point (G.A.P), this inclusive event caters to art and culture professionals interested in exploring various art spaces, discovering exhibition opportunities, networking, and meeting like-minded individuals.
This is an event concept designed to connect professional creatives with art spaces, cultural organisations, and art institutions. With the intention to directly address the expressed needs of our members and community, who have indicated a lack of connections and opportunities to meet and form collaborations.
The events are conducted in English, ensuring accessibility to a diverse audience. No registration is required; this event is open to the public, and everyone is welcomed to attend.
Just before the summer break we have the fantastic opportunity to visit SOLU / Bioart Society in Kalasatama. Summer brings us in much more frequent contact with cohabitants in outside spaces. With their rich programming and far-reaching projects, Bioart Society reminds us of the connections that are possible with our more-than-human kin and the lands we share. This is an organisation developing, producing and facilitating activities around art and natural sciences connections.
We are meeting the team from Bioart Society as they prepare to host an event in the space. (details of which can be seen in their upcoming posts). We will have the opportunity to learn about the mission of the organisation, explore its current programmes, diverse activities, after which we can join their event in SOLU space.
We are thrilled to be able to visit this incredibly interesting organisation and hear about the events and projects that inhabit their SOLU space and their time. You are warmly welcome to join our visit to this unique organisation!
