23.5.19 – Art & Culture Union’s Day

Welcome to Globe Art Point’s Great Art & Culture Union’s Day Event on 23.5.2019 at 15:00-18:20 at the Helsinki Central Library Oodi!

Artists’ Unions Fair will present the Finnish four major artists’ unions:
1. Theatre and Media workers TeMe (communication officer Anne Saveljeff);
2. Art and Culture Professionals’ Trade Union TAKU (organization coordinator Sini Myllyniemi);
3. Actor´s Union (managing director Elina Kuusikko);
4. Finnish Musicians’ Union (freelance-agent Jaakko Kämäräinen).

Artists and cultural workers from the fields of performing arts, visual arts, film & media, music and administration are welcome to attend! The event will begin with introductory presentations from each of the four artists’ unions and continue with group sessions during which artists can ask questions and learn relevant information from unions of their choice. Information and connections will be shared in an informal atmosphere with coffee, tea and snacks served. The Artists’ Union Fair will be held at Cube (Kuutio) at Central Library Oodi, 2nd floor, Töölönlahdenkatu 4, 00100 Helsinki. (near the Music House & the Central Railway Station).
